Feather

Feather is a haunting tale of two estranged brothers returning to their childhood home following the death of their Grandmother, the women who raised them.  I had the opportunity to photograph their promotional shots during their dress rehearsal before opening night.  The set design is efficient in conveying these tattered tangled interwoven lives.   The playwright, Bobby Ryan, has created rich, complex, multi-dimensional characters to address the difficult subject of sexual abuse.  I was so moved by the performances and the story, it stayed with me for days after the experience. Feather is playing for 4 weekends (Thursday through Sundays) with a closing matinee on Sunday, March 28th at Theater! Theater! located at 3430 SE Belmont.
