I got the “green light” from Mari to design the framing for the images she selected. I love to hear this from my clients “I trust your judgement so you pick what you think will look best.” With a 100% money back guarantee, there is no risk to my client if they are not happy with the results. I love the challenge to select materials that not only showcases my photography but will also match my client’s decor and style sensibility.

To make the images pop and subtly tie to the hot pink dress that Emi wore the day of the portrait session, the images were framed with a dusty rose/warm brown double mat. The finish is a chocolate brown with a reddish tinge wood moulding to match the furnishings in their great room. The frame moulding has a double ledge at the edge to give it a modern contemporary look, which matches the style of their decor. Included with the framed artwork purchases is the service to hang the artwork. I delivered and hung the artwork this past Saturday, just in time for their family’s Thanksgiving celebrations.

If you are suffering from paralysis in styling a room or wall, consider calling me to assist and we’ll create artwork that will also be a family keepsake for generations to come. Remember it is risk free with a 100% money back guarantee. It does me no good if you are not happy and yes, I am that confident in my ability!

For this home portrait session, I used the big bay windows to provide the back light separating the back of the doggies’ head from the leopard print background. A speedlight shooting through an umbrella on a light stand is placed just off to camera right. Milan get ready for these two adorable hotties!

Spencer is an 8 month old VERY energetic and lively moving target! My nickname for him during the session was “Spunky!” It should be fairly obvious that this King Charles Spaniel steals the heart of every passerby on his daily walks along the Riverplace Marina.

Here’s one of my other favorites from Spencer’s portrait session just to show you what a beautiful and handsome little guy he is.

This little Pomeranian puppy altered my view of the “little yappy dog.” He never barked while I photographed his human owner. He is pretty stinking cute and such a natural in front of the camera. These images were taken within a short span of minutes while we were waiting for his human to grab a Christmas ornament. I learned from “Mom” that Pomeranians originated from Germany and worked as sheep herders. Originally Mom thought to give the new puppy a German name but the little girl, who is this adorable puppy’s new owner, dubbed him “Arthur.”
